About these comparisons

Licensed chiropractors are counted by the county of their licensing mailing address, which may be a home or office. Counts include active or on-probation PA licenses with PA mailing addresses, deduplicated by person, as of October 1, 2026. They do not establish practice locations or patient volume. Population is Census July 1, 2025. Residents per licensed chiropractor is context, not a measure of clinical capacity, demand or business potential. Ratios are withheld below five licensees.

Regional benchmarks use total regional population divided by total regional licensees. Regional assignments follow the supplied PCA regional correction; Perry is in Capitol, Cameron in Nittany, Forest in Lakes, Fulton in Capitol and Sullivan in Coal. Philadelphia mailing-address counts may understate local practice activity.
